Thess vs Budgeting
I'm not exactly bad with numbers; it just takes me a little while to do the working out of these things. Which I guess is good for my love of D&D, and is also good for budgeting. Because dear gods do I need budgeting. Because, much as I hate to do it, I need to replace Gilmore.
Gilmore is my PC, by the way. My combination gift for Christmas 2018 / birthday 2019. So ... yeah, there are issues. I'm running i5 and i7 is minimum requirement for Silent Hill 2 (or at least, some sites say that but I'm going with what's on Steam, since I figure they'd know). Also ... well, the big issue is that Microsoft is going to stop supporting Win10 in October 2025, and Gilmore won't run Win11. So I need a PC that runs Win11.
Please note that I do not want to run Win11. However, I also do not want to be faced with a massive security issue next year. Plus, let's face it, this machine is over five years old - or, more to the point, I got it five years ago and it wasn't exactly the gold standard then. That's a lot for a computer.
What all of this has meant is that I've had to run the numbers. All of the numbers. With variables that I had to sort out midway through everything. So it's basically kind of algebra. Ish. If you squint.
So here's been my thought process and search terms of late:
Can I just replace the CPU? No, because my motherboard won't support a new CPU.
Can I just replace the motherboard and CPU? Well, at that point, you might as well replace the whole fucking computer because the price isn't that different.
Do I need to worry about a graphics card? No, because I got a new one of those fairly recently and it's way better than the CPU/motherboard that are at least five years old.
Will a custom-built PC tower save me any money whatsoever? ...Not really, no.
Can I plug a graphics card into a machine with integrated graphics? After a little bit of searching, it seems yes. They've all got extra PCIe slots, and the graphics chip just won't do anything if a graphics card is plugged into one, so ... cool.
Can I plug a graphics card into a mini-PC? Apparently you can with some, because they have extra PCIe ports, but it's finding the room in the case that's the problem. Unless I want to Macguyver a solution to the whole thing, probably not, no.
Why the fuck are Intel chips so much more expensive than Ryzen chips? No fucking idea, but the reviews don't seem to show that much difference, so I'll take the budget version.
When do I need this by? Can it wait until Christmas? I mean, I don't really want to play Silent Hill 2, or to potentially try Veilguard, running on the minimum in terms of processing power - if it'll even work on an i5 chip, which is doubtful. So before October would be ideal. Also I really don't want to ask for another combination Christmas / birthday gift from the parentals again this year. I just did that last year, plus my stepfather gets very pernickety about computer stuff since he used to be an IS manager and somehow thinks he still knows more about what I need or want than I do.
So that's the various bits of instinctive maths I've done to get the base information - what I actually need. Then I had to go hunting through the options. Eventually, I found a thing that is suitable to my needs when hunting through the list of places that refurbish computers. The options on Amazon were cheap but ... rubbish, frankly, and eventually I found a nice little refurb place that was able to sell me what I needed at a ... mostly good price. Not as glorious as Gilmore looks-wise, but what do I need that for, honestly? Best part is that this one comes with a DVD drive. I can just watch my DVDs on my new computer! Whose name has not come to me yet but will. Anyway, doesn't completely break the budget but is going to have me being veeeeeeeeery careful this month.
Maybe it's about time to break out the Baldur's Gate 3 perfumes. For a very small client list, mind you. I don't have the spoons for anything as big as Scent of a Warden got for awhile.
Not sure what to do with Gilmore. I mean, beyond gutting for parts. Not that there are many, honestly - I crammed in a few myself, but Gilmore is one of those machines designed for looks and not exactly for ease in upgrades. Thankfully the new box is apparently designed to be upgraded, partly because it was built and refurbished from spare parts in the first place. As for the Shiny Case ... well, there are recycling spots that can deal with that. I don't think a very old i5 chipset machine will particularly go on eBay, after all.
So ... yeah, budgeting. I'd feel bad for upgrading just for two games, but I'm not, really - I'm upgrading as a security measure too. Believe me, I'd be happy to stick with my Win10 machine. I don't want Win11. Everything I have heard about Win11 is awful. But I guess there isn't an option at this point. Assholes. Cramming their ad-riddled, AI-driven bullshit into my machine.

It isn't fair.
How does Fury expect you to focus on anything as an assistant when you're tasked to work with Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes?
The moment you met them, you were knocked off of your feet... almost literally.
You were running late to your first day of work after being stuck in traffic. You'd rushed off the elevator and down the hallway toward the conference room to try and get to your morning meeting on time. Right as you rounded the corner, you smacked into Steve's hard chest and lost your balance. If it hadn't been for Bucky catching you, you'd have hit the floor.
Now, almost two years later, you're just as head over heels for them as you were then, if not more so. It's no secret that the two super soldiers are a couple. They've been together for years, and you'd be lying if you said you haven't thought about what it would be like to be fucked by both of them.
It's a miracle that you've been able to hide your feelings for them this long. Normally, you're easy to read, but maybe it's because everyone you work for and with is always so busy.
Tonight is one of the rare occasions where everyone has the evening off, and Tony, of course, isn't letting it go to waste.
It's nothing formal, but you're still in a shimmery cocktail dress, courtesy of Natasha. She practically had to drag you here, and you haven't left the bar since everyone started arriving.
You scan the crowd and smile at all of the familiar faces. Thor, Loki, Stephen, Bruce, Wanda, Vision, Tony, Pepper, Peter, and so many others seem to be having the time of their lives, and after all they do for the world, they deserve it.
Natasha makes you another rum and coke and slides it down the bar into your hand. You swirl the dark liquid around for a moment and bring the glass to your lips just as Steve and Bucky walk up to order a drink.
"Hey, Nat! Can Bucky and I get some of that stuff Thor always drinks?"
Your eyes drag over their muscular frames and you bite your lip. It really should be a crime to look as good as they do. Steve leans against the bar and smiles at you, his action making Bucky turn around. His metal hand brushes your knee and your breath hitches.
"Oh! I'm sorry, doll. I didn't realize how close I was to you."
Natasha rolls her eyes and begins preparing their drinks. It's a wonder that these two haven't picked up the signs because she certainly knows you want them. Hell, she's stood here and watched you oogle them for the past five minutes. Add this to the list of all the other times, and well, it doesn't take a genius to see that you're infatuated.
You set your drink down with a shaky hand and look down at your lap. "It-It's umm... it's okay..." Smooth...real smooth, Y/N. Now he's going to think you're hurt or something.
Bucky furrows his brow, "hey, are you alright? I didn't hurt you, did I?"
Yep...real fucking smooth. Now you have to talk to them again.
Steve reaches over and tilts your head up with two of his fingers, "you can always tell us anything, sweetheart. Just because you're our assistant doesn't mean you're beneath us."
"I-I'm not hurt. I've just ah...had a long day and am pretty tired."
They don't look convinced, but at least they don't push you any further. Natasha hands over their drinks and shoos them away. Once they've crossed the room she leans across the bar so only you can hear her.
"Tell them, honey."
You choke on your drink, "t-tell who what?"
"Oh, don't play me for a fool, Y/N. You're not as subtle as you think, babe. I, literally, just watched you practically drool over Rogers and Barnes in real time, and it's not the first time either."
You glance over at them for a moment. They're laughing with Thor about something and it makes your heart skip when Bucky leans over to peck Steve on the cheek.
"You're doing it again."
"Doing what?"
She sighs and wipes down the bar top with a damp towel, "staring, Y/N."
You shake your head, "Nat, I can't tell them! They're in a relationship already and it doesn't look like they want to add someone else to the picture. Plus, I don't think they even swing my way, so..." You trail off and she points a finger at you.
"Natasha!" You squeak and blush furiously.
"Those two may have been around for over a century, but I can promise you that they've been with a woman before. I can speak from experience with one of them, and the other may have had a few late nights with one of the USO girls."
You gawk at her as she smirks, "you...you mean... w-with umm...you...Bucky?"
She chuckles and pours herself a martini. "Yes, James and I...we were a thing once. It hasn't happened in years though. Not since Steve got his head out of his ass and told Bucky how he felt. Which you also need to do if I'm being honest." She brings the glass to her lips and smirks again, "oh, and his metal fingers? Fucking fantastic."
"What? I'm sure Steve will agree with me." Her smile widens and she nods over your shoulder. "Let's ask him, shall we? Looks like he's coming over for another round."
You give her a pleading look, "no! Oh, my god...please don't ask him!"
"Ask me what?"
Steve leans against the bar and glances between the two of you quizzically. He notes your flushed skin and shaky hands again and grasps your wrist gently, your pulse thrumming against his fingertips.
"Jesus, sweetheart, you're shaking like a leaf. Are you sure you're feeling okay?"
You open your mouth to answer him, but Natasha beats you to it.
"Oh, she's fine! I was just telling her how skilled Bucky is with those metal fingers of his. You agree with me, right Steve?"
The blonde super soldier looks deep into your eyes and you swear you see them darken a fraction.
"So, you're curious about Bucky's arm, hm?"
"Who's curious about my arm?" The man himself comes up behind Steve and wraps his flesh hand around his waist.
Oh, god...just please let the ground open up and swallow me whole...
You bury your face in your hands and shake your head. "Just, please...forget I was even here. I-I'm sorry... I'm just gonna go to bed."
As you get up to leave, Steve steps into your path and blocks your way. The smirk on his face doesn't ease your mind in the least bit.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, I think we should talk about this, Y/N. Bucky deserves to know what you and Natasha have been talking about over here, now don't you agree?"
Bucky raises an eyebrow curiously, and you nervously play with your hands, "I...um...yes?"
"Good girl," Steve praises and places his big hand on the small of your back.
"Come on, doll, we'll walk you to your room."
Bucky puts an arm on your shoulder and Natasha watches as the three of you head off toward the elevators.
She chuckles and shakes her head, "and my work here is done."

Please let me ask.
Will this Specs for a new machine be ok if I plan to have a good experience with recording especially when there's too much of Sims in the lot or alot of cc? Because at some points, the lot becomes like a slideshow.
CPU: Intel Core i5 or AMD Athlon X4 or AMD Ryzen 7
RAM: 16GB+
GPU: 4GB VRAM
Space 500GB+
Screen Resolution: 1080P
OS: 64bit windows 10
Processor: 3Ghz+
Hello, dear! I think @celebkiriedhel is a much better choice to ask question like that, cause all I know about specs for the game and how to run it smoothly with what you got I learned from her and leefish forum. If you ask me (well, you do, so :D) I’d say recording+a lot of sims+a lot of cc will lag at any PC as much as I know of. It depends on so many things really. Like you can have 7 sims wearing clothes and hairstyles with reasonable amount of poly and one sim wearing clothes from creator like Lindasims, whose cc is mostly high poly, or that sim will have hair converted by yours truly(also high poly) you may experience some lagging. But what if all your 8 sims will wear high poly clothes, hair, accessories etc? You can have frame rate lowered to as if you’re watching a slideshow, not playing a game, or even cause pink hell to your neighbourhood. When I need to take shots (I have zero expirience in recording, sorry) that include a lot of sims and lot with tones of cc I do everything I can to make it as much easy for the game as possible. For example, I dress my sims in bodyshop, pack them, take off my CAS folder from my Downloads folder somewhere else, install only sims I’m going to use. Same with lot. I install only that exact lot and cc needed for it to run, and voila :) My game don’t need to read all 6 gb of CAS cc and 10 gb of build/objects I’m not using for this exact screenshots. As for specs, again, I’m not a pro, but if I remember correctly 3Gh+ is good, I run game on Windows 10 with no problem, 16 GB of ram is too much, 4GB of VRAM is great. I’d say specs are top notch. But again, I’d ask someone more expirienced like @celebkiriedhel to be sure :) I hope everything turnes out great for you <3

I5. Who Sired them, and into what Generation were they Sired? What’s their relationship with their Sire like, and what were the circumstances of their Embrace?
Beatrix Lehmann sired Leonard Lehmann as the 10th generation of their line on the 15th March 1516. He avoids disclosing his generation at all costs considering the fact that it is very high for a kindred that has survived as long as he has. It's also why he has a bitterness streak towards any kindred younger than him he learns is of a lower one.
His relationship with his sire was one built upon a mutual blood bond. Despite having a rebellious attitude he was a mummy's boy for his first century until through discussions with 'siblings' and exposure to kindred outside of the house started to have him questioning. By the late 1700s his loyalty to her was induced through blood bond entirely, he played into it to maintain an act but with some assistance from contacts he broke away. He has a lot of spite and distaste towards her now. As he rightfully should considering the traumatic abuse and manipulation he endured in his time under her influence.
The circumstances of his embrace were the following: he was adopted originally by his sire due to his resemblance to her son (the original Leonard Lehmann) whom had been the only one of her children to survive infancy let along into their teenage years. She became scared that this doppelganger would change too much and the resemblance would be lost and so she arranged for his embrace to take place on the anniversary of her own son's death, as a sort of way to have him carry on. A ghoul that had been acting as a mentor and friend to the boy arranged to cut tutoring off early on the day, presented him with a new set of clothes, took him to eat dinner and watch the sunset - and ended up being the first person Leo killed in the blind hunger of the initial aftermath of being embraced.
Beatrix was but a neonate herself still at this point and with no permission having been sought for her actions that evening. Her own sire was furious with her but figured the boy would make suitable leverage over her so let him remain. It's for this reason so much time was spent kept aside and masquerading as a ghoul during his first century.
II5. What were they most afraid of in life? How has this changed?
In life it was being accused for the deaths of his family. He felt partially responsible for their demise and the consequences that would of arisen at the time if he were to have that pinned on him? Not entirely pleasant. That and being 'broken over the wheel' for thefts committed in the time between loosing his family and being taken in by his sire. A truly horrific and agonizing way to go, a fear of that specific end is good cause for his remembering of it's existence.
Now however... torpor. The prospect of falling asleep and not rising again for some unknown amount of time is terrifying to him. Especially when he's on this constant rat race to keep up to speed with the times. In his mind getting torpored and taken out of the game for even just a few years could potentially be something he wouldn't recover from.
III5. Which of their Clan’s stereotypes apply to them? Which do they act against, or embody the opposite of?
In regards to what applies: - He definitely has a sense of noblesse oblige. Positioning himself as Prince in such a way that he defines his role less in the keeping of personal power and more in regards to the protecting of his people he serves with it. - He also adheres to quite the degree of Machiavellianism, which sometimes gets associated with his clan. - The suits. The goddamn suits. - Has a cruel power seeking streak prompting the desire to maintain control over his surroundings. While not outright power-hungry as the clan may be stereotyped, having power helps ensure stability.
Regarding what he acts against/opposes: - He has little mind for maintaining dignitas. He would much prefer to be seen as an incompetent fool so he can overlooked briefly enough for a backstab than he would want to adhere to all the tedious rules that come with the clan. - He knows that unlike his cousins he was not chosen for the embrace by courtesy of some kind of skill he possessed. He was not scoped out due to being a suitable protégé. - Will outright make a fool of himself on purpose (-bingo card insert-)
IV5. What do they think about the Kuei-jin?
I admittedly ignore WoD's lore around them cos of the sinophobia that has been engrained into it.
So instead have a little general NZ infomation. (cw: I do go into some current affairs so for anyone that wants to avoid such topics feel free to skip. Also, still not escaping people being shitty via talking about it unfortunately. British colony after all.)
During the 1860s, what was still 'initial colonization time', when many Europeans were coming to settle in the country there were also many Chinese arriving. British colonies being British colonies however held a heap of prejudice so imposed a poll tax upon their entry to the country (following the lead of US & Australia). This lasted from the 1880s to 1940s. Add on top of this discriminatory policies against even those born in the country preventing involvement in politics or work in various professions prior to the 50s and well, shit's been bad to say the least.
Over past few decades there have been several waves of Chinese immigration to the country and those identifying their ethnicity as Chinese make up a notable proportion of the Auckland demographic (~10%). This can be seen reflected in the fact that in many areas of Auckland signs can been seen written in both Cantonese or Madarin and English and also the massive yearly lantern festival and New Years celebrations in the city centre!
On a more serious note: Several of the wave haves come in response to governmental actions back in China, such as the 1997 handover. Conflicts over the CCP do get seen from the community as well - whether it be the group of protesters on Auckland's Queen Street on the daily handing out pamphlets to raise awareness of persecuted groups whilst fearing the long arm of the regime, or the conflict between pro/anti-beijing stances to arise on UoA's campus during the most recent protests in Hong Kong.
Conflict and concern over issues from back in China over the extent of control and actions of CCP's regime are alive within the NZ Chinese community. For an in depth look at part if it - this article from 2018 tries to touch on sources from both sides. And, by golly, does all this not help with the ongoing sinophobia present in society.
V5. What do they think about Clan Lasombra?
He thinks the conflict between Clan Lasombra and Clan Ventrue within the modern era is horrendously petty and grounded in the sect conflict more than anything. He himself is fearful of low generation Lasombra due to their capacity for long distance travel but the average fledgling to jump the ditch over from Australia is of little issue to him. He finds them to typically be smarter and more reasonable than some of the sabbat. Therefore be sorts he's willing to sit down and have a chat with.
The typical lasombra's desire for social climbing however is something of concern to him. They don't play by the same rules as the Ventrue and he finds something relatable in them. Those factors give him cause for some alarm. Even the nicest ones he encounters.
#ooc#long post#about#cw politics#I figured that whole business is something to be touched on considering there is often this external view of nz#as being this really wonderful nice polite place lacking issues#but I am certainly not the most eloquent person to be talking on it#but I do hope that that provides an insight into things here

Lenovo IdeaPad 5i | Intel 11th Generation + NVIDIA MX450
Today we have a very special laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 5i with us. It is a 16-inch laptop, and it comes with Intel's latest 11th generation tiger lake processor. So, let's check the laptop out, and then let's review it together. It also has Intel IRIS XC graphics, and it comes with an NVIDIA MX450 graphics card, so that's amazing. What you get in the box are the laptop, some documents, and the charger.
Now let's jump to the review.
Today we are reviewing the latest and the greatest from the stables of Lenovo, the laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 5i. The exact model number is 14i tl05. Let me quickly sync up on its killer specs, so we have Intel's latest 11th generation core i5 processor with IRIS XC integrated graphics 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, 512 GB of M.2 SSD storage, and to top it all, it also has a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics card with 2 GB of GDDR6 video RAM. You get all this and much more for less than a thousand bucks. This might be the best price to performance ratio I've ever seen. Let's talk about its display; the Lenovo IdeaPad 5i comes with a 14 inch full HD 1080p IPS panel. The display is not made for content creators, but it will serve its purpose for normal usage scenarios like watching movies, YouTube, and office work.
Why not for content creators? It's because the display only covers 65 percent of the RGB color gamut, not bad by any means, but if you're into serious photo and video editing business, then you may want to hook up an external monitor. The display gets sufficiently bright as well. I am happy with the display, considering it is the only weak point in an overall awesome package. However, the chassis is all plastic. It looks and feels super durable and premium. It is a very well-constructed laptop with a robust build quality. The finish is smooth and resistant to fingerprints. It is, after all, an ultra-book and weighs around 1.4 KGs. This makes it a fairly portable laptop that is easier to carry and will fit in nearly every backpack on the lid. IdeaPad 5i has an aluminum finish which looks nice. The hinge of the laptop is strong, and there is very minimal flex on the lid. The bottom of the laptop is clean with the air intake grilles and rubberized pads. The heat vents are located at the bottom chassis behind the keyboard, and they are quite large, which keeps this laptop cool. The unique feature of this laptop is the privacy shutter.
The camera button slide opens when you are ready to be on the camera and pushes it back into place when you are done. Thanks to its amazing internals, it is powered by intel core i5 11th generation tiger lake CPU, which is almost 30 faster than the previous-gen. With 11th gen Intel has finally caught up with the Ryzen 4000 series CPUs. One big addition to this year's release is the IRIS XC graphics through which you can easily do 1080p gaming at 30fps which is just brilliant from Intel. This model with NVIDIA's latest MX450 dedicated graphics card, which is a treat for gamers and someone who needs additional graphics power for the programs they run. On top of all that, 16 GB of RAM makes everything better in this laptop. It forms like a champ. Its performance is superb, even if your system is overloaded. It neither stutters nor gets heated up without any thermal throttling whatsoever. 4k video editing is possible on this laptop. It performs well. 512 GB of SSD also helps in fast speed. Thanks to Lenovo for bringing this amazing device to the masses.
Let's talk about gaming. Gaming is a cakewalk for IdeaPad 5i. It gives you between 50 to 60 fps on high settings. The benchmark scores are also amazing. Thanks to MX 450 dedicated graphics with 2 GB of GDDR6 video RAM. You can easily play on medium settings on this ultra-book. Battery life is amazing on low to moderate usage with brightness at eighty percent with a battery life of between six to eight hours. It charges quickly as well and will charge up to fifty percent in an hour.
Now let's talk about the keyboard. Lenovo makes great keyboards, and it continues to deliver the same stellar experience on IdeaPad 5i. The keyboard on offer is responsive with good key travel. you can type for hours on this top. The inbuilt fingerprint sensor below the keyboard is really good and one of the fastest out there. It's decent, not made of glass, so fingers do not light smoothly. It supports Windows 10 gestures. You need to apply a bit of pressure to register a click. You have 2 USB 3.1 gen1 ports and a full-size SD card reader. You have the charge port USB C port, which supports power delivery, an HDMI port, and an audio jack in terms of upgradability. Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the RAM as it's soldered onto the motherboard, but you have the option to upgrade the SSD to a bigger and better one if you want speakers.
Lastly, the speakers on IdeaPad 5i are upward-firing, which produces great sound. It supports Dolby audio and can easily fill up the room alright time for final thoughts for under 1000 bucks you cannot ask for a better deal in 2020. what you're getting is Intel's latest tiger lake processor, 16 GB of RAM, and NVIDIA's dedicated MX 450 graphics card, all this and much more in a very slim package as well I love my time with this great machine if you're looking for a serious work plus fun laptop then this should be it. It's great for both professionals and students and with such serious power underneath you will never be left wanting for more. The laptop is my top recommendation; great job Lenovo for bringing this to the market at such an amazing price if you are in the market for a laptop. Please don't buy Intel 10 generation laptops.
">Go for the 11th generation, and take your pick.

Escape Plan: 12% of a Plan
Title: Escape Plan: 12% of a Plan Written by: @tisfan Square(s): TonyStarkBingo - 3023 Adopted - Peter Quill/StarLord StarkBucks Bingo - I5 - Partners in Crime BuckyBarnesBingo - K4 - Meet Ugly Rating: teen and up Pairing: James “Bucky” Barnes/Peter Quill/Tony Stark Triggers/warnings: no archive warnings apply Tags: Prison fic, lack of planning, assholes, but not 100% dicks Created for: @tonystarkbingo @buckybarnesbingo @starkbucksbingo @rarepairsevents prompt #100 James “Bucky” Barnes/Peter Quill/Tony Stark Word count: 1480 Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/24047557/chapters/57865849 Summary: They say the first day in prison, you have to win a fight, or become someone’s bitch. Tony’s got no idea which thing just happened.
For @rise-up-ting-ting-like-glitter: thanks for the help brainstorming
Devil’s Station Transport
“That looks like my supper there, pal.”
Tony looked up with a mix of amusement and dread. He’d been on the prison transport for four days, that was eight meals, and he kept expecting something to happen during the common feeding time.
Most of the rest of the days he was locked in a single occupancy cell and generally ignored.
The guy who was starting something was new; he’d been brought aboard with another half dozen mismatched prisoners yesterday. He looked human, but Tony knew that didn’t necessarily mean anything. In fact, he looked like a refugee from a Kevin Bacon movie from the 80s, all wild hair and red leather jacket. He had the same collar around his neck that Tony did, though, which meant he was a prisoner.
Tony hadn’t been able to keep his own clothes; he was in the standard issue, brilliant purple jumpsuit. The prison automated guns were supposed to be able to instantly target any and everyone in the outfit.
This guy was wearing the jacket over his outfit. Tony wondered if that would keep the guns from being able to target him. And who he’d bribed to be able to wear it. It clashed horribly with the jumpsuit, but he was probably warmer than Tony was.
And he was eyeing Tony’s dinner like it was worth eating.
Because there were so many different aliens on the transport, food was… well, a mix of the inedible and unappetizing varieties. Tony had discovered the hard way not to try to eat the “meats”. But bread and the vitamin puddings, while disgusting, were at least digestible. Starving to death was not the plan.
Sometimes, in the middle of the night, Tony wondered if he could remember what the plan was.
The transport was horribly cramped, there were fights in the feeding room daily, and at least twice that Tony was aware of, someone had been taken away in a body bag and spaced.
But he was trying to keep his head down, mind his own business, and survive.
Get to Devil’s Station. That was part of the plan. Living until they got there, that was also part of the plan.
The guy in the red coat was still standing there while Tony decided what to do. He could meekly hand over his dinner, which seemed a good way to make sure he never ate again.
Tony grabbed the roll and stuffed the whole thing into his mouth, chewing insolently. He’d need the calories.
“I think you got an attitude about sharing, pal,” Redcoat said, taking the pudding cube off the tray and sticking it, unopened, into his pocket.
“Yeah?” Tony asked around the mouthful of bread. Not the best plan, the bread was chewy and tough and took a while to swallow. He reached for the vitamin drink to wash it down. Yarrow juice and water, it was the best part of the offerings. He got the cap off and chugged about half of it before Redcoat grabbed the tin tray to steal the rest of Tony’s dinner.
Which, while that was the meat and vegetables part and nothing that Tony could digest, he’d been making trades with some of the other prisoners for additional bread or juice rations.
“That’s mine,” Tony said, standing up. Redcoat was almost half a foot taller than Tony was, and while scruffy, seemed muscular under his jumpsuit.
“You think so? Come take it,” Redcoat taunted.
So much for trade tonight.
Tony grabbed the tray, jumped up onto his bench and smashed it down onto Redcoat’s head. The man went down like a ton of bricks, meat, gravy, and some sort of blue vegetable material dripping off him.
“Anyone else?” Tony demanded.
Unfortunately, the answer to that seemed to be a resounding yes.
*
When Tony woke up -- and he was astonished that he did, although the guards did get involved relatively quickly -- he was back in his cell with a ringing headache.
And a guest.
Redcoat.
So, it was a disciplinary action. Tony and Redcoat were left alone to work out their differences. No matter what noises they made, no one would come. Kept the guards from having to murder the prisoners, Tony supposed.
Of course, Redcoat was still out like a light, so Tony could probably kill him, if he wanted to.
He had to consider that. Did he want to?
Well, he really didn’t want to. Tony didn’t think of himself as a murderer, no matter what his reputation back on earth had been. Merchant of Death; he didn’t kill people himself, he just made weapons.
But maybe he could bargain with Redcoat. Probably better to do that from a position of power, in case Redcoat wasn’t in a bargaining mood.
There wasn’t a lot in Tony’s cell; a bunk that was bolted to the wall, a shelf that had been bolted to the wall to hold Tony’s (very few) personal belongings, and a toilet. Toilet paper was strictly rationed, and Tony sometimes thought that it was both unfairly rationed and used as a punishment method. Almost every alien life on this transport had some sort of elimination method. Although as far as he could tell, Mythrols only had to evacuate their waste every few months. Gross. But convenient if you needed to trade for extra toilet paper. They always seemed to have some.
But Tony wasn’t a genius for nothing, and he did have a shiv, tucked away in what looked like nothing so harmful as a comb. He fetched that, and then crouched over Redcoat, waiting for him to wake up.
“You can stop with the theatrics,” Redcoat said without even opening his eyes. “Do I look like the kind of idiot that can be knocked out with a tea tray? Rhetorical question.”
Huh.
Tony sat back on his heels. “Then you went through a lot of trouble to steal a pudding cube.”
“Do you not know a break-out attempt when you see one?”
“Did I see one? I thought I saw you acting like a clown for no particular reason in the mess hall.”
“Ha, ha, ha. Well, look at this, then--” Redcoat reached into his jacket pocket and Tony raised the shiv threateningly. “-- stop, Stark, okay? I’m here to rescue you. I’ve got your R2 unit, I’m here with Ben Kenobi.”
“Aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?”
Redcoat made a little cheering motion. “All right, that just made my cycle! I haven’t seen Star Wars in decades, but man, that was a great movie!”
“You’re human.”
“Half human,” Redcoat corrected. “The other half is -- dubious. I have father issues, let’s not get into that on our first date.”
“From Earth.”
“Missouri,” Redcoat confirmed. “My name’s Quill. You can call me StarLord.”
“Quill, right, I’m--”
“The great Tony Stark, I know,” Quill said. “Your boyfriend sent me to get you out of here.”
“Bucky?”
“He said his name was Barnes,” Quill said. “Gave me this to show you.” He took his hand out of his coat and offered Tony a single dog-tag. The last time he’d seen those, there were a pair of them and they were hanging around Bucky’s neck. Bucky valued them very highly, and would have given them to the person in front of Tony only in extreme need. Or the extremity of his death.
And Tony was pretty sure the Winter Soldier could beat the tar out of this asshole.
“We have a plan?”
“We have… twelve percent of a plan,” Quill hedged.
“I’m going to give Bucky eleven percent of the credit for even that much.”
“It’s a fluid situation, man,” Quill said. “We’re playing it by ear.”
“Yeah, but whose ear?”
“Barnes.”
“I feel better.”
*
Bucky checked the scopes again.
The Milano wasn’t the best ship he’d seen; which was saying a lot, given that he’d only seen about a dozen space ships in his entire life that weren’t on a movie screen.
But it was getting him where he wanted to go, and that was a start.
“Next time,” he muttered to himself, “get details.”
Tony had been kidnapped by aliens. According to Carol Danvers, he had been, in fact, arrested, tried and convicted in short order.
“Look, I’m already on the outs with Xandar,” she had said. “I can’t do anything about it, but I do know some people who can help you. They’re like, total assholes. You and Stark’ll love ‘em.”
Said assholes had allowed their leader to get likewise arrested, planning for Quill and Tony to end up on the same transport together.
“And then we’ll just track down Quill’s location and snag ‘em both,” Rocket had said.
Just like that.
Bucky watched out the front screen -- there was nothing out there that looked like anything except black and stars -- and hoped the hell these assholes knew what they were doing.
A/N - Mythrols are the blue amphibian race from the Mandalorian -- the first bounty we see in that show.
Devil’s Station is the prison compound in a bad movie called Escape Plan: The Extractors. Which is a little shoutout to Dave Bautista who plays Drax in Guardians.
Also, yes, I’m already planning more in this AU. at some point, I might actually WRITE some of the MOAR stuff I’m planning

I have a couple of questions that I'm asking all my tumblr friends. 1. Which computer name brands are the best for gaming, drawing, and multi-purpose on the internet? 2. Which are the type that everyone uses? desktops or laptops?
I'm not a computer gamer (infact I don't have my own computer, we only have my sisters laptop in the house) so I have no hands on experience but I've done a load of research into gaming and art computers cuz I would love one! And I also took ICT computers as a subject in school and this was part of the work.
My research has told me that desktop is better then laptop for things like gaming but both can be good depending on how good of a computer you can get.
When buying a computer you need to check it's well lets say stats, this would be how much is it's storage space, it's RAM, it's processor and so on.
I would recommend SSD (solid state drive) for your memory storage rather then the HDD (Hard disk drive) SSD has faster loading time and is more durable but is more expensive. Where HDD has more storage and is cheaper but is slower, can over heat more easily and is more fragile with many moving parts it's easier to break. You also want about at least 500GB - 1TB of storage, more if you want to store a lot of games, art and pictures, though anything higher then 1TB can be excessive and unnecessary expense but I mean if you have the money for it go ahead.
What you really need for gaming and digital art is some good RAM (or Randomly Memory Access, the stuff on your computer that lets you run apps and play games,) more RAM means a smoother play and less loading time. Anything under 8GB is pretty much rubbish for gaming you really want something like 12GB or better yet 16GB but you can scrape by with say 8GB as a minimum. Computers come with RAM but it's also something you can buy separately and install yourself to upgrade it if you know how (or watch a YouTube video or 3).
You also need a good processor especially for digital art (your CPU, the brain of your computer) intel core i5, or i7 are whats recommended. i3 isn't the best for gaming it can be great for internet browsing and only just handle entry level gaming.
Basically you ideally want your computer starts to be:
Storage: SSD 1TB (lowest 500GB)
RAM: 16GB (lowest 8GB)
Professor: Intel core i7 (or i5)
The best gaming computers on the market would be:
Alienware Aurora R10.
CyberPowerPC Gamer Extreme VR.
Dell G5 Gaming Desktop 5090
Corsair One i160.
iBuyPower Snowblind.
But those are hella expensive. If you've not got the money for those then looking for a computer with the right stats in your price range is a good idea. A refurbished computer can be good and affordable and building your own computer can be the cheapest way to get exactly what you need in your computer.

Guide To Twitch Streaming
Who wants to sit and watch people play video games all day? Millions of people, it turns out. Live-streaming website Twitch is one of the biggest things in games, with 15 million daily viewers who come to watch the wealth of professional tournaments, gaming talk shows and casual solo sessions that the site's 2-million-plus broadcasters offer.
Twitch's biggest streamers are a new breed of Internet celebrity, with legions of dedicated fans who tune in daily to watch them dominate Fortnite matches or hilariously scream their way through horror games. Many of these personalities have a litany of sponsors and hundreds of thousands of social media followers — two traits more typical of a pro athlete than someone who plays video games for a living.
But while only a lucky few make it to the NBA or the NFL, anyone with a decent gaming PC or modern game console can be a Twitch streamer. If you want to take a shot at Twitch stardom, here's everything you need to know about how to become a Twitch streamer, from basic hardware requirements to tips from the pros on keeping viewers happy.
What You Need to Become a Twitch Streamer A Good Computer
Although there are a few exceptions I'll outline below, you'll likely be doing most of your streaming from a gaming laptop or gaming desktop PC. As far as specs go, Twitch recommends having at least an Intel Core i5-4670 processor (or its AMD equivalent), 8GB of RAM and Windows 7 or newer. (Don't worry; you can stream from a Mac, too.)
If you're streaming PC games, you'll need a graphics card strong enough to support whatever you're playing and, ideally, one that supports DirectX 10 and up. The faster your Internet connection, the better — you should probably aim to have an upload speed of at least 3MB per second, which should be attainable on most home Internet connections or even via mobile.
While we recommend streaming from a desktop if possible, going live from a laptop is totally doable with the right specs. If you want to go the mobile route, be sure to check out our guide to streaming to Twitch from a laptop.
One PC or two?
While Twitch's core system requirements are pretty forgiving, streaming and playing graphically intense games at the same time can put quite the load on your computer. Some popular streamers remedy this by using two PCs at once — one for gaming, and another for broadcasting. If that sounds too complicated, you can check out desktops such as CyberPower's Pro Streamer, which houses two complete PCs in a single body.
Fortunately, thanks to to recent strides made by Nvidia, creating a high-quality stream from a single PC is becoming more feasible. If you own a gaming desktop or laptop with one of Nvidia's new RTX graphics cards, you'll be able to take advantage of Nvidia's dedicated hardware encoder that's built into each card. This essentially relieves your CPU of having to do too much of the heavy lifting.
Open Broadcaster Software, which we'll touch on below, is optimized for the new Nvidia cards, meaning that it's quite easy to get a smooth single-PC stream going so long as you've got OBS as well as a system with an RTX 2060, 2070, 2080 or 2080 GPU.
A Twitch account
You can visit Twitch.tv to join for free, and you should probably add a custom avatar, banner and description so that viewers can learn a little bit about you. If you want to make sure that all of your broadcasts are temporarily archived for later viewing, you can head to Settings > Channel & Videos > Archive Broadcasts.
Streaming Software
The most essential part of any streamer's tool kit, broadcasting software lets you show your gameplay to the world. The two most commonly used streaming programs are Open Broadcasting Software (OBS), which is completely free, and XSplit, which has a highly intuitive interface but requires a paid subscription in order to use its key features.
Regardless of your choice of software, setting up your stream consists of the same general steps: picking your sources (such as your computer monitor, gameplay feed or webcam), laying out how they'll all appear for the viewer, and finally, syncing up your Twitch account and going live.
Microphone and Camera
While you can technically get by with a gaming headset, you'll want a dedicated microphone so that your viewers can hear you clearly. The $129 Blue Yeti is our favorite USB mic thanks to its crisp audio quality and adjustable pickup modes. If you're on a tight budget, consider the $36 Samson Go Mic; for something more portable, check out the $99 Blue Yeti Nano. For more on microphones, be sure to also check out our podcasting guide.
If you don't already have a webcam and want to show your face, the $49 Logitech HD Pro C920 is our top overall pick thanks to its sharp 1080p capture quality and wide field of view. The $99 Logitech C922 offers the same quality but with automatic background removal, which allows you to superimpose yourself onto your game without the need for a green screen. There's also the $99 Razer Kiyo, which is similarly sharp and offers a built-in ring light for illuminating your face.
Streaming from Consoles
If you're wondering how to become a Twitch streamer without any fancy PC hardware, both the Xbox One and PS4 let you stream directly from your console, without any extra devices or software. On Xbox One, you'll just need the free Twitch app; on PS4, you can go live right from the system's Share menu. Folks on Xbox can also stream directly to Microsoft's Mixer platform, which is just as easy to set up. While you won't get to customize your stream the way you would from your PC, console streaming is still a great way to get your feet wet.
If you want to stream from your Nintendo Switch or any other console (or just want more control over your broadcast), you'll need a capture card that records your console gameplay to your PC.
The most popular capture card option out there is the $129 Elgato Game Capture HD, which seamlessly records 1080p video from Xbox One/360, PS4/PS3, Wii U and just about any other system with an HDMI output. It also has a Component adapter, in case you want to stream from one of your dusty retro consoles. If you want smoother, 60-frame-per-second streams, you can step up to the $151 Elgato HD60.
Twitch is home to a growing stable of bona fide gaming celebrities who make their living broadcasting — but not just because they play the latest games or have a fancy stream setup. The top Twitch streamers are true entertainers; some are known for their incredible Call of Duty headshots, while others are famous for blowing through entire Zelda games in 20 minutes. But more than that, they're just great personalities.
"[Our top streamers] are humble, friendly, highly interactive and treat the people in their chat as if they are the stars of the show," said Chase (yep, just Chase), Twitch’s director of public relations.
If you're looking to get into the finer points of growing an audience, popular Hearthstone player Jeffrey "Trump" Shih's "Streaming 101" video is an excellent place to start. Shih neatly breaks down the core components of streaming into an acronym he calls OPTICS (Opportunity, Presence, Technology, Interaction, Consistency and Skill), noting that focusing on any number of these factors could help you make a name for yourself.
Grow big enough on Twitch, and you just might be offered a partnership, which allows you to get a cut of broadcast revenue and offer your viewers exclusive perks in exchange for a monthly subscription fee. No matter what level of Twitch stardom you're shooting for, here are tips from some of the streamers who do it best.

How do you stand out among Twitch's 2 million streamers? For Burke Black, all it took was a pirate hat and lots of patience. After two years of steady streaming, Black is now a partnered broadcaster with more than 23,000 followers that tune in to catch his late-night, swashbuckling-themed antics.
Fire up any of Black's broadcasts, and you'll see him in full brown-and-beige pirate garb, complete with a skull-and-crossbones bandana and an epic beard to match. The 36-year-old is the farthest thing from imposing, though, as he giggles and cheers his way through anything from Grand Theft Auto V to Pirates! (naturally) while enthusiastically chatting with his viewers.
"I consider it a show, not just some dude streaming games," Black said. "People come in because they like the atmosphere … [it's a] nice friendly environment where they can come and have a good time with some cheesy pirate stuff going on."
Becoming a pirate isn't the only way to stand out on Twitch. Perhaps you're exceptionally skilled at the world's most obscure platformer, or you have a really cute dog you can put in front of the camera while you blast through Counter-Strike matches. Find your specialty, and run with it.
Be Consistent
Consistency is crucial — just as people tune in to their favorite TV shows at the same time every night, they should know exactly when you'll be live on Twitch. Whether you broadcast in the afternoon or the wee hours of the morning, stick to your schedule, and make sure it's prominently displayed across both your Twitch page and social media sites.
"You will never get the same viewers if you stream at random times when you are just starting out," said That's Cat, a 26-year-old streamer that specializes in survival games and has almost 30,000 followers.
Make Some Friends
Sonja "OMGitsfirefoxx" Reid is one of Twitch's biggest stars, with more than 631,000 followers and her own merchandise store. While much of her success can be attributed to her unfiltered sense of humor and constant interaction with her viewers, one of her biggest breaks came from working with others.
"We started a daily Minecraft stream, with the idea of just playing some Minecraft with friends and hanging out," said Reid of "Mianite," a series in which she and other popular Twitch stars broadcast their daily hijinks in the popular crafting game. "It blew up, and turned into a huge series, which is going into its third season."
That's Cat also made a name for herself by playing with other broadcasters. In fact, the streamer had 500 Twitch followers before she even went live on her own channel, simply because she made plenty of friends beforehand.
"I ended up having over 80 viewers [on] my first stream, because of my presence in the community prior to streaming," said Cat, who got offered a partnership after just three months of broadcasting.
Be Very Interactive w/ Your Audience
What sets Twitch streams apart from other forms of entertainment is that the audience is almost always a key part of the experience. All Twitch broadcasts are accompanied by a chat room, which allows streamers to interact directly with the people who support them. The more you make your viewers feel like they're sitting on the couch with you while you play, the better chance you have at building a loyal following.
Reid affectionately refers to her fans as her "foxx family." Even with hundreds of thousands of followers, she makes sure to keep things personal.
"I get to know a lot of my [viewers], and remember what's going on in their lives and chat with them about it in stream," she said. "Having a community that really feels like a family is really important to me."
Audience interaction is a top priority for Black, who has a monitor dedicated solely to viewing his Twitch chat. Black also does frequent giveaways, which, according to the streamer, helps encourage fans to come back every night.
That's Cat's following has grown so loyal that she can count on having viewers no matter how obscure the game she's playing.
"I literally played Barbie's Dream house and still had my entire community cheering me on," she said.
Don't Stress About Your Gear (At First)
Just because your favorite streamer has a super-sharp webcam and a fancy green screen and streams from two high-end PCs at once doesn't mean you have to — at least at first. Twitch's system requirements are quite lenient, which means you should focus on growing an audience before you spend thousands turning your bedroom into an all-out studio.

"I started streaming on an old HP laptop that overheated to the point of burning my hand, and an old foldout chair from Walmart," said Reid, who's been able to upgrade to a decidedly better setup as her channel grew.
Be Patient, and Have Fun!
As with any type of success, "making it" on Twitch takes lots of patience and hard work.
"If you're doing [this] just to make money, you'll usually fizzle out in the first three or so months," Black said. "For the first six months, it was just awful because I didn't know what I was doing. Try not to get discouraged, because everyone's been that way."
Black's patience is now paying off; the streamer is closing in on 24,000 followers, and his Twitter feed is full of pictures of loyal fans wearing T-shirts with his name on them. Black, who currently works in photography, is considering becoming a full-time streamer once he hits 500 paid subscribers.
Reid stressed the importance of relishing every viewer, no matter how few there are in the beginning.
"Even if you have three viewers, or 30 or 300, there are people that are choosing to hang out and watch you," Reid noted.
In the end, it's important to remember that we're all still playing video games. Whether it's a hobby or something you hope to make into a career, streaming should be fun — the more you enjoy yourself, the more everyone watching you probably will, too.

Best All In One Computer:Expert’s Hand-Picked
Two decades ago, the desktop PCs we were using had pretty large CRT monitors along with a separate CPU tower. Today, all-in-one computers are getting quite popular as they have an integrated CPU and monitor. All you have to do is just plug in your mouse and keyboard to the slots behind the display, and it works same as a normal desktop PC.
They are designed for those looking for a compact PC that looks stylish too.
Why You need an All In Ones Computer?
All in ones PCs have a single unit that integrates every part of a computer except peripheral devices like keyboard and monitor. Usually, these AIO PCs come with a keyboard and mouse of the same brand.
They have an integrated display, CPU, motherboard and other components, and equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI ports, and audio jacks.
Another special thing about all in ones PC is its screen size. Even low-end AIOs come with at least a 20-inch screen. Almost every AIO provides a full HD resolution of 1920*1080. If you are bored of laptops and looking for a better and big screen, all in ones computers are the best

Part#7 Guide & Tips Times: How to Choose An All In Ones Computers
Choosing a best all in ones PC from a wide variety of option is a cumbersome task. Here I have provided a detailed guide how to choose the right one for you. Before picking the right one, you have to know what is important to look for. Read the following tips carefully to know what you should consider.
Quick Tips
Components: Which Specs Matter?
If you are a regular user, and the primary usage is to work on those spreadsheets, you might need a big display but an FHD display is not really needed. But if you choose the PC for streaming HD videos, you may need an FHD display and well capable hardware to support the load. Let’s see how to choose the right components.
Display: Size and Resolution
You are already heading to choose a good all in ones PC. Almost every all in ones PCs comes with a minimum of 20 inches to a 34-inch display. If you are not too confined to keep your PC under tight space, I would recommend to but at least a PC with 23-inch display. You can always buy a big 32 inches display of you can afford it as they are always on the costly side. Too big screen is not liked by all and the 27 inches is the average size loved by most people.
Display resolution ranges from HD, FHD, QHD, 4K and 5K display. You should seriously consider your purpose before selecting the right display if you have a constrained budget. If you want to stream or play 4K movies or games, you should not settle on those FHD displays and it won’t equal the crispness of 4K displays.
Touch Screen Yes or No?
The Touchscreen on that big display is a new and useful feature, but it’s not a must. Many people simply rely on a mouse rather than having a touch screen that comes at a little extra price tag. However, having a touch screen greatly reduces the effort of using the machine.
For designers looking for a dedicated studio machine, all in ones PCs like Microsoft Surface Studio offers touch screen with a smartpen. The designer can draw anything on the screen with the help of the pen. So, the touchscreen is used for productive purposes apart from regular navigation and selection.
So, always think well if you can effectively utilize the touch screen function or not. If you don’t need it really, it’s better to avoid it to save some money. But I strongly recommend going with a touchscreen display, as it has many features and easy gestures that you won’t regret later.
Design: Form and Function
An all in ones PC is defined by its form factor. Unlike other PCs, an AIO packs everything right from a display to a DVD drive on a single chassis. The advantage of owning an all I ones PC is its mess free single wire power input. Another advantage is the inclusion of wireless keyboard and mouse which makes the whole unit wire-free.
Setting up an all in one PC is the easiest when compared to other PCs. You just have to plug in the power supply to the socket and you are done. No more physical connections are actually needed. Wireless mouse and keyboard and mouse connect themselves as soon as the machine is powered on. Even certain printers and other devices support wireless connectivity, boosting even more convenience.
Now let’s talk about the aesthetics and ergonomics. As far as the aesthetics concerned, all in ones PCs are considered great as it looks cool on your desk. To facilitate ergonomics, most all in ones PCs comes with a stand built-in that can be adjusted to different positions based on your comfort. Some AIOs come with single leg support that looks really cool. But they offer a limited adjustment like fewer angle options. So if you are more concerned about ergonomics, you should look for stands that have more adjustment options.
Operating System: Windows or MacOS?
Choosing an operating system is completely based on the individual’s preference. You should consider the one that is already used by you and feels more comfortable. If you are much comfortable using Windows and have sparingly used a Mac OS, stick to Windows. If you are familiar with Mac platforms like iPhone, iPad, etc., go with Mac.
Apart from personal preference and ease of use, you should consider another important parameter here. I’m talking about the touchscreen compatibility within the OS platforms. The Apple’s Mac OS platforms don’t support the touchscreen functionality. But windows platform is pretty friendly with this feature. So if you have more affinity towards touchscreen, you should go with Windows as there is no other option.
Ports
Yes, you must well check the ports available in the AIO PC you are looking for. This is a silent price-cutting strategy followed by PC manufacturers. Those advanced ports like USB-C, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, and HDMI ports are the ones usually gets out of the spec sheet. So be careful and check all the required ports you decided to have. If you are the one who frequently transfers big sized files to another hard drive, there’s no use of getting an AIO with just a USB 2.0 port. So be careful about what you wish for.
Another thing to consider here is the placement of ports. To make the PC visually appealing, some manufacturers choose a spot that is difficult to reach or not sufficiently enough room to accommodate connectors with big heads.
Do not compromise on HDMI port. Most all in ones PCs of today is equipped with HDMI ports as default. The use of old-school VGA is disappearing slowly and you should always have an HDMI port for better picture quality and the ability to send sound signals through the same cable.
Memory card slot is another thing to consider. If you are a photographer; often prefer to copy the pictures directly from the memory card, look for the card reader availability and compatibility.
Sound
If you are a music lover or looking for best sounding machine to quench your hardcore movie needs, you should always check the sound system and configuration on the AIO you are shortlisting. Sound options ranges from simple mono system to a Dolby enabled multi-channel output like the ones in latest AIO PCs.
Power output ranges from 2W RMS to 20W RMS. However, you can always enjoy music at more volume and Bass by installing external speaker systems. But for people who prefer to keep just the PC on the desk and still needs a good sound, look for multi-speaker configuration with Dolby enabled speakers.
Price
Price is always a big parameter when buying something. An all in ones PC which have same configuration as a regular PC is always priced at the higher side as the workmanship required to integrate everything under a single unit is a labor extensive job.
If you don’t care about the budget, you can choose an all in ones PC from the top tier PCs. These PC literally packs everything a PC needs. They boast a big 32+inch high-resolution 4K display along with touchscreen, powered by latest i7 or equivalent AMD processors, equipped with 12+ GB of RAM for lag-free multitasking, powerful graphics cards with huge video RAM, high-speed SSD memory, and packs all necessary ports and wireless features. But you should spend an average cost of $2000 to get hands on those machines.
The midsegment all in ones PCs are priced between $1000 to $2000 can be bought with the above-mentioned features but you have to lose certain features to get your desired features, just like choosing FHD display and SSD over a 4K display. These machines seem capable, but remember some of them do not have a dedicated graphic card for heavy gaming. There are plenty of options available in this price range. You can compare them all and decide based on your actual need.
If you are looking for all in ones PC for gaming or heavy software usage, prepare to spend a little extra money. Look for game dedicated AIOs that are specially designed to handle latest games without any glitch. These are usually equipped with high-end graphic cards and high-speed SSD memory to facilitate lag-free gaming at higher FPS. You should consider a minimum of i5 processors and 12 GB of RAM to play the latest demanding games.
Brief Summary
So be cautious about your selection as far as you are confined to a budget. Hope all the above tips will help you choose the right all in ones PC for you. Remember that you should not compromise on certain necessary features like HDMI ports. If you are looking for a fast machine for office use where multitasking and huge storage is needed, go for a machine that has lots of RAM and fast storage rather than picking one with a good graphic card. So be wise, and select the best keeping your preference in your mind.
If I Were You, I will Choose HP Envy 34-b010, here are the 3 Reasons
Reason 1: It has a big curved display
I’m primarily looking for screen immersion. This one has an ultra-wide 34-inch display with Quad HD resolution of 3440*1440 pixels. The curved display will be great to immerse you in the game or your favorite movie. With wider display configuration, I can even manage multiple documents at the same time.

Surprisingly, this Hp’s all in ones PC comes with 16 GB DDR RAM, and a powerful AMD Radeon RX 460 graphics card with dedicated 4GB memory. It also features a 256 GB SSD memory which is more than enough for OS storage, and storing your favorite games and applications opened frequently.
Reason 3: Fantastic Audio
I’m an audiophile! Sound quality from this PC is just amazing and you won’t complain for sure. It has 4 front firing speakers producing excellent Dolby surround effect with a respectable 20W power output. Though Bass is not that strong, you can always add external speakers to crank up the noise. I really enjoyed the sound and I don’t have any idea to add external speakers. Though it is priced on the higher side at $2000, great potential and advanced features justify the price!

Two decades ago, the desktop PCs we were using had pretty large CRT monitors along with a separate CPU tower. Today, all-in-one computers are getting quite popular as they have an integrated CPU and monitor.

The curved display will be great to immerse you in the game or your favorite movie. With wider display configuration, I can even manage multiple documents at the same time.

The curved display will be great to immerse you in the game or your favorite movie. With wider display configuration, I can even manage multiple documents at the same time.

Though Bass is not that strong, you can always add external speakers to crank up the noise. I really enjoyed the sound and I don’t have any idea to add external speakers. Though it is priced on the higher side at $2000, great potential and advanced features justify the price!

Atomic Heart System Requirements – Light Sci-Fi FPS PC Specs
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4f27a21bbd7baa7196d274357f562fad/704107fe856083a3-2d/s540x810/e1e175725fba814b6f706186a279f3ee55dd0c58.jpg)
What hardware requirements does Atomic Heart have? The sci-fi first-person shooter game's PC requirements aren't too demanding, and you won't need crazy dystopian technology to play it. Even slightly outdated gaming PC systems should be able to run Atomic Heart without too many problems, despite the fact that the shooter appears to combine aspects of Fallout and Bioshock into a fresh package. According to Atomic Heart minimum requirements, you’ll need a GPU with 4GB of VRAM like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380. Whether you bat for the green or red team, you won’t need the best graphics card around to boot the frantic FPS game, and most options from the past few years should do the trick. Here are the Atomic Heart system requirements: Graphics aside, you’ll need a CPU on par with the Intel Core i5 4460 and at least 8GB RAM to run it. Again, we’re talking about minimum specs, but the bar is still pleasantly low for a game hoping to rank among the best PC games in 2023. However, if you’re looking to boost fps and play with fancy visuals enabled, you’re going to need a slightly beefier rig. Matching Atomic Heart recommended specs shouldn’t break the bank, but developer Mundfish suggests using either an Nvidia GTX 1080 or AMD RX Vega 64 GPU, a 3.8GHz processor like the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, and 16GB RAM. Not exactly what we’d describe as the best gaming PC by today’s standards, but it should let you fight robots while enjoying higher frame rates. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah74ys4t3Fs Lastly, you’ll need to free up 90GB of storage to meet Atomic Heart size requirements, but there’s no word on whether you should upgrade to a solid-state drive. Picking up the best SSD for gaming is going to benefit your entire Steam library, so we’d recommend making the investment anyway if you’re rocking a mechanical hard disc. If you’re the proud owner of a new GeForce graphics card like the RTX 4080, then you’ll be able to increase fps tenfold, thanks to Atomic Heart DLSS 3 support. RTX 4000 exclusive features like Frame Generation could transform the shooter’s performance without much visual compromise. It may help even cheaper cards like the Nvidia RTX 4060 pull off neat frame rate tricks when they eventually arrive, but you’ll need to make the leap to Lovelace to use the AI upscaler.
